Welcome to The Little Learning Place
At The Little Learning Place, our programs are designed to support each stage of early development while preparing children step-by-step for school success. From our youngest infants to our Pre-Kindergarten learners, we provide the right balance of structure, creativity, and play so every child can grow with confidence.
Infant Program (6 weeks – 12 months)
Our Infant Program is designed to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing “first classroom” where babies can grow, explore, and feel secure. In this stage, relationships are at the heart of learning. Our teachers provide individualized attention, gentle care, and a predictable routine that helps infants feel comforted and connected.
Each day includes age-appropriate experiences that support early development, such as tummy time, sensory play, music, and story time. Teachers encourage language growth by talking, singing, and reading with babies throughout the day. Fine and gross motor skills are supported through reaching, grasping, rolling, and crawling activities.
We also work closely with families to follow each baby’s feeding and sleep schedule, ensuring consistency between home and school. With a calm environment, low teacher-to-infant ratios, and warm, attentive care, our Infant Program lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and discovery.
Infant Bridge (12 – 15 months)
The Infant Bridge is a transitional classroom for older infants who are ready for more independence but not quite ready for the pace of toddlers. Here, children are introduced to simple routines, early group activities, and age-appropriate challenges that build confidence. With a focus on language, social interaction, and early independence, the Infant Bridge gently prepares little ones for a smooth move into the Toddler Program.
Toddler Program (15 months – 2 years)
Toddlers are busy explorers—full of curiosity, energy, and wonder. At The Little Learning Place, our Toddler Program provides the perfect balance of structured routines and hands-on discovery to support this important stage of growth.
Children are introduced to simple daily schedules that give them comfort and consistency, while also leaving plenty of room for creativity and exploration. Through music, movement, art, sensory play, and outdoor time, toddlers develop independence, coordination, and early problem-solving skills.
Equally important, our teachers focus on guiding toddlers’ social and emotional growth, helping them learn to share, take turns, communicate feelings, and build friendships. With patient support and encouragement, toddlers gain confidence and the foundation they’ll carry into preschool.
Preschool Program (3 – 4 years)
Our Preschool Program is designed to give children a joyful, hands-on start to their learning journey, one that goes beyond what traditional programs often provide. At this age, children are full of curiosity, energy, and imagination. We create a safe, nurturing space where they can explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.
Through a play-based, theme-driven curriculum, preschoolers begin to build early academic skills in literacy, math, and science, but always in ways that are engaging and fun. Storytelling, letter games, counting activities, art projects, and simple science experiments bring learning to life and make every day exciting.
With smaller class sizes and caring teachers, your child receives the individual attention they need, something larger programs can’t always provide. Our teachers focus on the whole child, nurturing not just academic growth, but also social and emotional development. Children practice working together, communicating, sharing, and problem-solving in a supportive environment that feels like family.
Daily routines include plenty of opportunities for creativity, movement, and outdoor play, because children learn best when academics are balanced with fun and exploration. By the end of the Preschool Program, children are confident, independent, and fully prepared to thrive in Pre-Kindergarten.
Pre-Kindergarten Program (4 – 5 years)
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program is the bridge between early childhood and elementary school, a time when children build the skills, independence, and confidence they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. At The Little Learning Place, we create a rich, balanced learning environment that combines academics, creativity, and social growth.
Children in Pre-Kindergarten are introduced to more advanced concepts in literacy, math, and science through engaging, hands-on activities. From recognizing letters and sight words to exploring early writing, counting, and problem-solving, learning feels fun, meaningful, and connected to real-world experiences.
Equally important, we focus on social and emotional readiness. Pre-K students practice teamwork, responsibility, and leadership through group projects, classroom jobs, and daily routines. They learn to express their feelings, manage transitions, and work through challenges, skills that set them up for success in school and in life.
Our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms also nurture independence. Teachers encourage children to take ownership of their learning, make choices, and develop self-help skills, building the resilience and confidence they’ll need for kindergarten.
Every day is rounded out with opportunities for art, music, movement, and outdoor play, because we believe children learn best when academics are paired with creativity and joy.
By the end of our Pre-Kindergarten Program, children leave The Little Learning Place not only prepared for kindergarten, but excited about learning and confident in who they are.
Meal Program 🍎
We understand how busy mornings can be for families, that’s why our all-inclusive meal program is designed with convenience in mind. Parents don’t have to worry about packing lunches, snacks, or juggling last-minute meal prep. Instead, children enjoy a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack every day, all included in tuition.
Our meals are carefully planned to balance nutrition and taste, giving children the energy they need for learning and play. By providing healthy meals onsite, we make mornings smoother for parents and ensure that every child receives the same level of nourishment and care throughout the day. For parents, this means one less thing to stress about, knowing your child is eating well, trying new foods, and developing healthy habits at school.
